2 Pac，上个世纪90年代最出色的说唱歌星，在说唱音乐界拥有极高的地位和影响力，于1991年推出首张个人专辑《2 Pacalypse Now 》后，就广获好评。然而，1996年9月13日，这位年仅25岁的黑人饶舌乐界的巨星殒落在Las Vegas的一次枪击事件中。
本名Tupac Amaru Shakur的2 Pac1971年6月16日出生在美国纽约，与母亲和姐姐相依为命，辗转漂泊。十几岁时在Baltimore的艺术学校充分锻炼自己的说唱和表演才华，最终在加利福尼亚州定居的 2 Pac加入当地的一支名为Digital Underground的乐团，并在乐团表演中渐渐形成了自己的说唱风格。1991年，首张专辑发行就取得了相当不错的成绩。
2 Pac短暂的一生非常辉煌，他在说唱和电影方面都取得了不小的成就，但是他似乎与打斗和犯罪也很有缘分。也许这就是他英年早逝的伏笔。
从1996年开始，2 Pac生前没有发行的大量单曲在他死后纷纷推出并获得了很好的销售成绩。

Phil Collins全名“Philip David Charles Collins”于1951年1月30日生于伦敦西部一个叫CHISWICK的小镇。Phil 堪称欧美流行歌坛的一棵万年青。他在乐器方面出道很早，五岁习鼓，二十五岁以前就成为是世界一流摇滚鼓手。在歌唱和作曲方面却是大器晚成，三十岁才出第一张个人专辑，旋即一炮打响。第一首单曲更被奉为经典，被无数后人翻唱。连美国当今最红的痞子阿姆(Eminem)都在自己的Stan一曲中提到。前几年Mariah Carey和Westlife又以翻唱Phil的名曲Against All Odds在英国和欧洲单曲榜上高居不下。Phil不只是出名的工作狂(参照以下巡演时间表)，而且在自己的音乐方面又是个控制狂。虽然出的个人专辑不多，但几乎每一张都包办词曲，制作，敲打乐和键盘，1993年的Both Sides那张专辑干脆是连所有其他乐器也都一手揽来，音乐全方面的实力可见一斑。
